SCOPE
This standard applies to two types (self-levelling and
nonsag) and two classes (glazing and nonglazing uses)
of multi-component joint sealing compounds that,
with proper mixing of the components, cure to a
rubber-like solid and are suitable for sealing or
caulking applications in buildings, on substrates of
metal, concrete, masonry, glass (Class 1 only), or
wood.
The compounds may be used for interior and exterior
joints that may have movements to plus or minus 25%
and for joints that may be continuously immersed
in water.
